You’ll want a trainer who can make you feel comfortable and yet challenge you, someone who can inspire you and who can kick your butt if you feel it needs kicking.
My name is Katrina Tomillo, and the odds are, I’m the trainer for you!
No matter where you are now, in shape, out of shape, recovering from childbirth or an injury, I’ve been there and I know how to bring you to the highest point of your training career.
Want to lose some weight and tone up? Need nutritional advice? Want to train as a body builder? I won the Novice Women’s over 55kg Physique class at the 2008 New Zealand Federation of Bodybuilding’s Wellington regional competition only a year after having my second child.
Struggling with a chronic illness? In 2019, I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease - Rheumatoid Arthritis - which caused every day tasks to be challenging, as well as dealing with being in constant pain, and I've had to re-build my strength and work hard to re-gain flexibility and mobility in my joints, all while dealing with the side-effects of the multiple medications that I'm on.

I started out in the fitness industry in 1993, teaching Group Fitness classes. In 2003 and 2004 I gained my National Certification and a Diploma in Exercise Science which brought me into the world of Personal Training where I’ve really found my groove.
Training my clients to reach their personal goals has proven an incredibly satisfying career choice for me. Watching people reach their potential, seeing their confidence grow and enjoying the pure delight my clients feel at conquering their greatest challenges is inspiring. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some wonderful clients, and I have loved helping them to overcome their personal stumbling blocks on the road to success.
I believe every client deserves to be given the very best their trainer has to offer, and I established a gym in my own home in support of this belief. No longer do my clients have to follow a regime set out by a gym or institution that isn’t personally relevant to them. In my gym the only member is you.
In my home based gym you’ll have complete privacy to work on your goals, not work around somebody else’s. It’s all about you at Stellar Fitness Solutions, from your choice of music while you train to scheduling your sessions to fit around your lifestyle. You don’t even need to join a gym, though if you have a gym membership elsewhere, I can make you up a programme to work on there, too.
Stellar Fitness is based in Wellington, New Zealand, but you don’t have to live around here to work with me. I can create a weight training programme or nutrition plan for you online and still be there to support you every step of the way.
