I'm Di and a newbie to Stellar Fitness having started in September 2017. I had however seen how awesome Kat and her Stellar Fitness challenges and classes are through my pocket-rocket sister, Rachel.
In August 2016, my family and I moved home to NZ after 16 years in Australia. I'd been pretty active with lots of walking and a few gym classes every week. But a couple of months before our move I stopped exercising thinking I'd pick it up again once we'd settled back in NZ. How wrong I was!
Fast forward 1 year and I'd done ZERO exercise, was eating everything in sight (damn you kiwi food and your deliciousness!), gained a stack of weight, and felt sluggish and unhealthy. Lucky for me, I have a fitness guru sister who encouraged me to join her at Stellar Fitness for Kat's 12-week Transformation Challenge. (In actual fact, she wasn't going to take no for an answer anyway haha!)
From the get-go I knew Stellar Fitness was for me. Kat is friendly and down-to-earth so I felt at ease straight away. Her classes are challenging yet fun. And Kat's weekly emails and challenges are great motivators (those Super Sat/Sun's though!!!). My fave thing is the Stellar Fitness camaraderie. There's a great vibe and everyone is encouraging and supportive making it so much easier to meet your goals.
I've now completed the challenge and came 2nd place; and feel fantastic. My nutrition and exercise is back on track, I'm back to a healthy weight, and I've met some fabulous people. I've even discovered a love of morning walks up Mt Kaukau!
When I embarked on the challenge I wasn't sure that I would stick with it, but Kat has created such a fun and supportive space at Stellar Fitness. This made it so much easier to achieve my health and fitness goals. Thank you so much, Kat!
